National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association
"Protecting the benefits of active federal employees and federal retirees." WELCOME! The Arkansas Federation of Chapters of the NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (NARFE) is made up of 30 chapters located throughout four congressional districts in Arkansas. The purpose of the Arkansas Federation of Chapters,
along with the national office of the NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED
FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (NARFE) and local chapters, is to assist
current and retired federal employees and postal employees and retirees with their retirement benefits;
to encourage NARFE members to contact members of Congress to assist in
the protection of these benefits. See "What is NARFE?" under Information
Pages in left column. The "Information Pages" or "Features" to the left may be accessed for more information about NARFE programs, the Arkansas Federation and its Officers and Chapters. Look at "Links to Other Websites" to help find information you desire. For other assistance, contact the webmaster listed at the bottom of this page. NARFE’s Mission Statement To support legislation beneficial to current and potential federal annuitants and to oppose legislation contrary to their interests.To promote the general welfare of current and potential federal annuitants by advising them with respect to their rights under retirement laws and regulations. To cooperate with other organizations and associations in furtherance of these general objectives.
NARFE’s Vision Statement We want NARFE to be recognized as the beacon and guiding light for all federal retirees’ rights and benefits;Where great work is done to help preserve those rights and benefits;Where members receive the highest quality services and products;Where all members are left with the knowledge and understanding that their needs and wants are being taken to the highest levels of government for resolution; Where NARFE’s success in achieving its mission is measured by its standing in the eyes of its membership.
