       NARFE in Arkansas

National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association

 "Protecting the benefits of active federal employees and federal retirees."

WELCOME! The Arkansas Federation of Chapters of the NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (NARFE) is made up of 33 chapters located throughout four congressional districts in Arkansas.

The purpose of the Arkansas Federation of Chapters, along with the national office of the NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (NARFE) and local chapters, is to assist current and retired federal employees with their retirement benefits and to encourage NARFE members to contact members of Congress to assist in the protection of these benefits. See "What is NARFE?" under Information Pages in left column.

This site also provides information on the issues that are of importance to the current federal worker and retiree, both those covered by FEDERAL EMPLOYEE'S RETIREMENT SYSTEM (FERS) and CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT SYSTEM (CSRS). Links are also provided to direct you to another agency or website to assist in your needs. You may view the NARFE National webpage for further information.

The "Information Pages" or "Features" to the left may be accessed for more information about NARFE programs, the Arkansas Federation and its Officers and Chapters. Look at "Links to Other Websites" to help find information you desire. For other assistance, contact the webmaster listed at the bottom of this page.

NARFE’s Mission Statement

To support legislation beneficial to current and potential federal annuitants and to oppose legislation contrary to their interests.

To promote the general welfare of current and potential federal annuitants by advising them with respect to their rights under retirement laws and regulations.

To cooperate with other organizations and associations in furtherance of these general objectives.

NARFE’s Vision Statement

We want NARFE to be recognized as the beacon and guiding light for all federal retirees’ rights and benefits;

Where great work is done to help preserve those rights and benefits;

Where members receive the highest quality services and products;

Where all members are left with the knowledge and understanding that their needs and wants are being taken to the highest levels of government for resolution;

Where NARFE’s success in achieving its mission is measured by its standing in the eyes of its membership.
